According to Descartes reality,

We are, therefore we must be,

But, in which state does reality exist?

Metaphysical or metamorphic schist.

Are we just part of someone's plan,

Or rocks shaped by our own hand?

Is everything we see part of the proof,

That we hope will lead us to the truth?

And what is gained by all we know?

If purpose, from truth, does not flow.
